FARMERS' CO-OP OF SAN BARTOLOME OF SÓLLER
We are the oldest farmers’ co-op in Spain, founded in 1899, specializing in the distribution of citrus and the manufacture of extra virgin olive oil.
We installed our first oil mill in 1926. Since then it has been producing virgin olive oil, and in recent years, thanks to the modernization of the oil mill, we have been given the denomination of origin DO Oli de Mallorca “Olis Sóller”.
AGRICULTURE &
PRESERVATION
The farmers’ co-op of San Bartolomé in Sóller was founded in 1899. Today, it has more than 350 members and remains dedicated to the goals set when it was established:
- Getting a good price for local producers so they can look after their farms and preserve the landscape of orchards and olive groves.
- Promoting the sale of fresh and seasonal products.
- Helping to preserve the landscape and traditions of the Sierra de Tramuntana, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2011.
You will find oranges, oil, olives, jams, fruits, vegetables, sausages and other products. They are the results of the work, wisdom and love for the land that makes the cooperative store the best place to fill your shopping basket.
Help support the environment, the farmers and the local community by buying at the cooperative. That way, everybody wins.
